Week 2

This week we have been working on Symbolism. Students have been reading various Grimm's Fairytales and analyzing the symbols, culture, and values we find in them. Their homework is to read and chart the tales. An example is provided below. 

HOMEWORK: 

• Honors = 4 Tales + The White Snake, Daily Journals
• Core = 3 Tales + Cinderella, Daily Journals

Week 1

This week we went over Disclosures, took the Reading Inventory Test (district mandated), and started learning each others names. Make sure you get your disclosures back on time- all late work is HALF credit. 

DUE DATES:

• 8/23- Disclosures due for A2
• 8/26- Disclosures due for B2 & B3
