Week 4

All LA Classes:

    Image preview
  • We wrapped up our "Fairy Tale" unit with a read-a-thon style day covering American Tall Tales. The classes had great discussions on what these stories revealed about the values and culture our country was founded on and how that has impacted us today.
  • We also started prepping for our first novel, Night by Ellie Weisel. This book is a true account of a holocaust survivor and has some pretty heavy things. I encourage families to take tame and discuss this important history with your students.
  • The first Vocab test of the year will be:
    • B2- FRIDAY, SEPT 20
    • B3- TUESDAY, SEPT 24
    • A2- MONDAY, SEPT 23
