LA9 Core for 1/28-2/2

At the end of last week we started reading Romeo and Juliet. We will be reading select scenes and watching the Zeffirelli Film (1968) in class. If you miss class you will need to read the scene you missed on your own at home. Students were also assigned Vocabulary from the text and a test will be given at the end of the month.

For journals we have been watching a documentary entitled "Happy" by director Roko Belic. This is accessible though local libraries or Netflix if you miss a day and need to make up you entries.

As an exercise in focus, relaxation, and mindful practice we also worked on Zentangles as part of our journaling. If you would like to know more about this you can find their website here: https://zentangle.com/.

LA9 Honors & Core

Wow, the days have gone by so fast! This week we started final exams and turned in journals. Students can also turn in any unused hall passes for extra credit. Any rewrites or late work was collected and will be entered into the grade-book as I get it graded; I have a pretty large pile so it will take time. The Deadline for late/makeup work was WEDNESDAY Jan 10th!
