Welcome to Term 2!
This week HONORS classes discussed Medea and participated in mini mock debates. The also started reading The Odyssey (cptrs 1-5 for this week) and watching the film "The Blind Side"in conjunction with our study of Heroes and the Heros Journey. We also started brainstorming for an upcoming Hero Speech that will be presented in class.
The CORE classes have spent the last two days in the computer lab typing tier first Analysis Essay on the book Night. It was due at the end of class TUESDAY. They also staring to prepare for their hero speeches and watching "The Blind Side."
*There will be a substitute on Thursday, Oct 31st.
