HONORS:

We continued our reading through the week as Homework and students should be finished with the book by Monday Oct 7 and ready to write essays next week.

CORE:
Students continued in our reading of Night and our WWII Timeline. This timeline helps give us context to our novel as we seek to understand what Elie Wiesel went through and why his story might be important to us and should be recorded in their journals.

  • Daily Journals
  • Reading: Finish Chapter 6 for Monday.

*Both classes attached this clip of Ellie Wiesel addressing a Conference for Youth and Young Leaders. It is only about 10 minutes long if you wold like to watch and talk toy our student about what was said: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keLT6bp7wok

*Students have a substitute on Thursday and Friday while I am in Cedar City with our Shakespeare Competition Team.
