REMOTE LEARNING on CANVAS

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Remote Learning!!

Starting TODAY, classwork is now up on Canvas. You have reading and assignments due FRIDAY so don’t waste time.

I have organized the curriculum into weekly modules, so you have all week to work on the assignments and they are due by Friday at Midnight each week. Pay attention to your due dates!! If our "suspension" goes on longer than 2 weeks I will add Modules and Due Dates.

• Everything will be submitted online- no paper assignments. 
• Please read your instructions on each assignment and email me if you have questions: alexie.shafferbaugh@slcschools.org. 
• You can continue to check the Blog for info- but all work and assignments will be online through Canvas- no emailing or printing off work.
• I also suggest following SLCSD and Highland High School social media accounts for the latest updates as we work through this together.

For this week:

We will continue with our reading and analysis of Romeo and Juliet. Most of you were assigned to Read Act III by Friday or Monday so we will pick up there. 

1. Go to Canvas, open our class. 
2. Click on Syllabus, read it, and take the quiz.
3. Click on modules, then “Romeo and Juliet Act 3” 
4. Follow the instructions for assignments and discussions

If you are not familiar with this platform yet, get started! MOST of your classes will be utilizing it for the next few weeks.
